The Tunnel Gallery was first opened in 1999. Initially it was conceived as a space for boys and staff to display work, as well as running a rolling programme of exhibitions by both emerging and established artists. Since then, OBS Gallery has facilitated the development of the external exhibition program which, in turn, has given us an opportunity to use the Tunnel Gallery to focus on our Artist Residency programme.

During the course of the residency, successful applicants use the space as a focus for engaging the broader school community. This has included a wide range of activities from play workshops to presentations and, of course, more traditional exhibitions. The Gallery provides an extremely flexible space in a convenient location, the only real limitations being the extent of one’s creativity!

If you have any questions about the space or the residency, please do get in touch.
